Floor Sanding
We've been sanding floors for over 20 years and during that time we've learnt that the combination of two approaches to floor sanding is the only way to guarantee a perfect finish.
The first approach is traditional: using in-depth knowledge of wood species to truly understand your floor and how it will react to our work. And the second approach is modern: using professional-level dust-free sanding machinery and state-of-the-art filtration systems to make light work of even the toughest floors and keep your home dust-free throughout.

Floor Refinishing
The finish of your wooden floor is the final stage in creating a floor that looks exactly as you want it to look and stands the test of time.
Our floor refinishing process is led by you and your floor. We'll help you find a finish that works for your floor and achieves the look you want, by advising you on the realistic outcomes and laying down samples to see what your floor could really look like.
We use only the highest quality professional-grade stains, oils and lacquers to finish your floor. We use products from globally-recognised manufacturers, including Bona, Pallmann and Morrells, so that your floor stays looking good for as long as possible.

Every floor sanding process begins with an assessment of your floor and your goals: is your floor in good condition, but you want to change its colour? Is your floor suffering from minor wear-and-tear and needs a refresh? Is your floor in a location in your home that gets high footfall (e.g. your kitchen)?
Once we know your floor and your goals, we'll recommend a process that will achieve what you're looking for. We'll sand your floors back to bare wood, creating a smooth, even surface to work on. Then, we'll apply the stain, lacquer or oil of your choice to achieve your desired look.

Our existing floor was scratched and damaged with some missing areas and gaps opening up. Mark and George sanded the floor, replaced missing areas, filled the gaps with resin, re-sanded and lacquered.

Mark and his team did a superb job on restoring the original Victorian floors in our new property. They sanded the ground floor to remove paint and plastic grouting from the floor boards, stained them Jacobean and applied lacquer.
